I read this post from eugyppius today. It reminded me of your first book describing the huge anxiety, especially of mothers, that people experienced worrying about Covid. I, myself, remain unvaccinated. But I did suffer from rejection by vaccinated people who were so very fearful of Covid--which I regarded as no more threatening than flu, despite my advanced age of almost 81.
Great article. It covers two interlinked topics: fear and financial corruption. The fear is necessary to drive the financial engine, because directing public funds to pay for useless "tests" would be difficult without the irrational component of delusional anxiety.
It's interesting to note as well that all these people on the verge of a panic attack at having their taxpayer-subsidized testing kits go away would never, under any circumstances, accept treatment for their supposed infections, were they to test positive. Proves that all the testing served a non-medical purpose: making medical tool companies rich and reinforcing the false virtue of Wuflu "victims" who desperately cling to any excuse they can find to lock themselves in their homes, refuse to work, and attack any sane human being who insists on living a fear-free life. Pathetic.
Oh but they do accept treatments for Covid when they test positive. When their lips turn blue and they can't breathe, they have been told they can then seek emergency help from the hospital that will then damage their health further by shooting them full of Remdesivir and applying ventilators. Possibly they will even die--which can then offer the hospital even more money.
You do know that minorities and poor people are more likely to have jobs that require them to show up in person. Refusing to work is not a thing for them because they need the money to support their families and can't work from home. It's psychologically healthy to attack threats to one's life or existence. But in this case of people suffering fear of Covid attacking those who refuse to follow so called health directives they are deluded so the attacks are a sign of their mental illness.
Sometimes I think everyone is insane. I have a friend who refuses to treat herself for lung damage due to heavy smoking throughout her life. She states she wants to avoid worrying about her health and not experience fear. Maybe some people frightened of Covid do grasp at straws: vaccines, masks, social distancing, testing. To be fair the government and pharmaceutical companies (that we used to believe trustworthy) are constantly urging us to get tested and vaccinated. These "remedies" are not relevant to Covid protection--but they are highly relevant to treating anxiety. Some people prefer opioids, alcohol, marijuana instead.
I often wonder what makes people accept treatments. I have a friend who, like me, suffers from a hypersensitive autonomic nervous system. I will pretty much try anything that promises relief from my bothersome symptoms. He will not. For instance, he has been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome. He suffers from chronic constipation, abdominal pain, gas, bloating. Had his gall bladder removed. He wishes to avoid drugs. The body should be able to heal itself. He doesn't want to have to take anything long term. Body should be able to get over any complaint and then return to normality. I also was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome (misdiagnosis in my case, but never mind). I took digestive enzymes with meals and found some relief. When I stopped taking them my symptoms returned. So the simple solution is to keep taking them. My friend didn't keep taking digestives. Perhaps it's the money? I think it has more to do with weakness and independence. Very important for my male friend. I'm female so I accept weakness. On the other hand I'm terrified of joint damage and dependency on pain killers. So I'm under treating my chronic pain from arthritis and neck whiplash.
Those like me who don't care for cooked liver might try puréeing it raw with apple cider vinegar and water. Adding kidney and spleen makes it even more nutritious. I am convinced that the nutrient profile of raw organ purée is superior to cooked organs, and fermenting it makes it even better. This has been the foundation of my athletic diet for several years now.
I know a growing number of athletes who have begun eating organ meat rich in nutrients unavailable from any other food. The apple cider vinegar is a nice added touch. You do need to be confident in the sourcing of the organ meat when consuming it raw, but the nutritional value cannot be beat.
The acidity of the vinegar pre-digests the organs as an alternative to cooking and really improves the flavor. I agree that quality is critical for organ meats, whether we are eating them raw or cooking them. I prefer midwest bison as they are wild animals living in a relatively clean ecosystem. I've tried grass-fed beef liver from the market, but it's really not the same, and not as tasty. In particular, it does not seem to ferment well.

When you make a statement like that, you utterly destroy whatever credibility you might have. My wife and I have been whole food plant-based vegan for twenty years, with excellent health. Read some books by Joel Fuhrman MD, John McDougall MD, T. Colin Campbell Ph.D., Caldwell Esselstyn Jr. MD, and dozens of others, covering thousands of studies over populations of millions over decades, which prove beyond any reasonable doubt that whole foods vegan or mostly-vegan diets are far superior for the vast majority of people. Of course one could construct an unhealthy, Twinkie-and-Coke "vegan" diet, but that is not what anyone serious advocates.
Vegans have long been led to conflate health with the elimination of entire swaths of foods necessary for proper functioning, because it is easier and cheaper to find healthy sources of fruits and vegetables than dairy and meat. When chosen properly, meat and milk products provide a healthy and essential source of nutrition that is not found in any other food group. This conflation has been made possible by a propaganda campaign by vegan activists. One of the more recent examples of this is the popular Netflix movie Gamechangers that falsely claimed a vegan diet improves athletic performance and bone density, while meat provokes inflammation and causes cancer.
While it is true that most people who switch to eating only fruits and vegetables initially feel much better, this is due to the elimination of unhealthy processed food and added chemicals, salt, preservatives, and sugar. Dietary restrictors also tend to lose weight initially, provided they don’t overindulge in sugar, pasta, and corn. Over the long run, though, the nutritional deficits that accrue render such a constrained diet unsustainable. Now that we know everything we were told about eggs, red meat, and milk is wrong—consuming them does not lead to obesity, cardiovascular disease, and cancer but rather supports the metabolic function of every major organ, including the brain, the vegan diet is no longer defensible for health reasons.
