Thank you, Dr. McDonald. Physicians should be added to the list of those to be held criminally liable. They betrayed their oath and patients and were agents of great harm. Without their cooperation and complicity none of this would have happened.
With a heavy heart (as an MD), I fully agree. We have been looked up to as voices of reason, factual information and sound medical advice. In the end, when I meet my Maker, I am comfortable knowing I stayed consistent to the oaths and principles expected. It is the legions of my colleagues who did not that need a reckoning, preferably in this life. They have squandered public trust like never seen and destroyed a very noble profession. Whether through ignorance or intentionally, they were no more than useful idiots and pawns doing the devil’s bidding. And most importantly have maimed or killed far more people then they helped during this time. It makes me viscerally sick to even contemplate. I have no empathy or sympathy for any of them, some even my friends. They are not fit to be given the privilege of treating the sick.
Beautifully stated, doctor. My dear husband is a retired family doctor, 86 years old, and you spoke for him as well. It’s hard to believe this is really happening but unfortunately it’s even worse than we imagined possible.
I never wore a mask except when a grocery store employee nearly knocked me down trying to put a mask on me. I reported her and that practice stopped at that grocery store. She didn't get fired which I was grateful for. She just needed to know her place.
Like other forms of abuse, and it is serial abuse - perhaps of the worst sort - it is based on utter self-deception by abuser and abused. Both make an agreement. The cycle of destruction can only be broken if one or both breaks the agreement to be abused or to commit abuse.
Excellent piece, as usual. Holding politicians, bureaucrats, media titans and corporate executives criminally liable is certainly in order. That’s teaching the bully, power-hungry and disturbed out there how we are to be treated – with respect! Also glad to see Rand Paul introducing an amendment to remove emperor Fauci as the director of the NIAID.
