There are two different worlds in America. Public spaces (grocery stores, malls, medical facilities) where frightened people in masks are seen. Neighborhoods spookily quiet - everyone huddled indoors.

Then there are large outdoor parks and natural areas where many healthy folks congregate. No masks or avoidance behavior and lots of healthy exercise.

There’s a very public schizophrenia about. Someone needs to write a book about this phase.

If you want a real eye opener, read, “The Dark Secrets of SHTF Survival”…Selco Begovic survived the Balkan war of the 90’s. He is from Bosnia and the book is written in his own words (edited for clarity).

We have had so much warning. Not much about this current tyranny and collapse is truly new unfortunately. So many brave human survivors.

And so many remain deaf to the cries.

Yes the cotton wool hibernation of those wanting to hold onto what they perceive as security is extreme. See no evil, hear no evil? Mass hysteria sure. Hysteria cocoons many from the inconvenient recognition. For good or ill, it won’t last.

Thank you, Dr. McDonald for this excellent, thought-provoking post. Lots of thoughts came to mind while I was reading and re-reading it. I've always given others a carte blanche of respect initially, but when they violate boundaries or demand respect, it's instantly withdrawn and has to be earned. People that come to mind have never regained it but continue to demand it. Not a surprise that they do not think critically. There are many interesting connections to ponder here.

What a wonderful insight. I travelled to Egypt late last year and came away with just about the same understanding that you did. Very similar situation there as Egyptians have a very deeply seated distrust of government and go about their lives working hard not to make waves, but also rather clearly defiant. They also have a very strong faith in God, which I think is even more influential in their behaviour and expression of their critical thinking and common sense.

I would think Russians (the other country I have personal connection with) would be similar considering their background. I have a lot of Russian friends due to my past working with the musicians there. It is hard to tell what they are thinking as a community of people...but their government seems to have swallowed this "new world WEF order" hook, line, and sinker...

Bosnia certainly has its problems, but compliance with destructive and corrupt government fiats is not one of them. Americans have become, largely speaking, a herd of losers.

Can't disagree on that!

At the same time Americans have been targets of campaign of silence and distortion of all truth for so long they became numb. Add in a system where nearly everything they’ve been taught is wrong. It’s like they’ve been wrapped in several layers of batting so they no longer feel. It is intentional. Then add in social media & MSM which selects for psychopathology and toxic narcissism and voila. Those who can still feel and process must lead the way.
