We have to stay in California and be on the front lines. The bills being passed in the state legislature are nothing short of a war on medical freedom. The issue is all of the states in this country are being destroyed by corporations in control of politicians. The Covid Facism going on is the biggest issue facing our country and world. Where are the republicans in congress speaking about this? Their silence means they are complicit. Why aren't they talking about Biden's Transhumist Executive order? The congress continue to push sending our tax payer dollars oversees whilst failing to regulate Big Oil, Big Agriculture, Big Tech, Big Banks, and of course Big Pharma. We have been gaslight for hundreds of years by propoganda and distracted by non meaningful issues. They divide us by religiion, skin color, gender, programming our children in government run schools.

I totally understand your thinking process, and know you have been entertaining living internationally. You are also native CA, as I am. Our State needs us to continue to get her back and protect her. Over the last month, I have witnessed significant 'wins' that many thought were not possible. Whatever will transpire beyond November, it will reverberate internationally, so why not be right where we can stop it from spreading? We need to legally fight AB 2098 (given Newsom does not veto, which is my guess) -- many of these ridiculous bills are not 'legal,' and have been ruled as unconstitutional in other rulings. We just can't abandon our beautiful State.

Circumstances don't permit this native Californian to leave this evil, corrupt state. I take that as a sign that I am to join the fight in whatever way I can, even if just sharing information, taking a stand against the idiotic mandates (although around here in this loony liberal bubble, about a quarter of the people are still wearing masks outside--they don't need a mandate to be compliant and stupid), and taking advantage of every opportunity to fight back. It's lonely, it's frustrating, it's depressing, but it's also where God has put me, and in that I find strength and resolve. Prayer is an important weapon in this fight and God will guide us. Doors open, doors close--we just need to pay attention and be willing to respond. Thank you for all you are doing, Dr. McDonald. God bless you.

At this point, we know what the endgame is and we can still get ahead of it, no matter our location. To open the conversation would you agree on principle with a ban on the genetic modification of human beings?

My mother recently passed away at nearly 93. I flew to California for her funeral service. along with some of my cousins and one brother. Mom wore the dress I made for her nearly 20 years ago for her eldest grandchild's wedding. She told me at the time I made the wedding dress that she loved it so much that she wanted to be buried in it. At the end of the service, we were horrified to learn that she would not be buried in her long ago paid for plot, but would be put "on ice" somewhere in the state of California until they had time to properly bury her. I can't recall the ridiculous excuse for this blunder but we were all angry about it while being unable to do anything about it.

Mark, I fully understand the conflict you are struggling with. Do you do what's best for the good of your community, or what's best for you? Here in rural Wisconsin, the birthplace of the Republican Party, most restaurants close around 3 in the afternoon. I think part of the problem is they cannot keep employees, the way the government incentifys them to stay home. I admire your commitment to help people. A trait very rare in the doctors of today.

I think you are correct, Dr. McDonald. Any city of a size that would be able to support your practice has been ruined by leftists. I'm glad you can make a difference in CA. I've probably shared this before, but many of my husband's family of origin lives there and has their entire lives. They've lived in a bubble and had little influence on the culture around them. My BiL is now a leftist as are most of his children. You can't swim in a sewer for years and not be tainted by it. They wore masks in their house when a daughter came home for Christmas from another state and they've all gotten the jabs. We are the happy, healthy unjabbed exiles in the family wondering when one of them is going to keel over due to their ignorant choices. I expect though that they will escape the gulags, but we will not. I'm not going to live on my knees.

BTW, I will need to buy my own copy of Freedom from Fear b/c there is a lot of underlining I'd like to do and I can't do that in a library copy! We're on our first "retirement trip" having driven through Illinois, Iowa, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming and seen very few face diapers. There has been a general feeling of normalcy everywhere. Tomorrow, we'll go to Yellowstone and see if we can enter buildings with our God-given faces. I intend to use Megan Mansell's info from the ADA that says they cannot require me to wear a mask or even ask what my disability is if it is demanded I wear one.
