"And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. " Thess 2: 11-12

They can’t accept the truth about masks, because if they pull on that thread the entire tapestry unravels. Then you find yourself standing outside of every institution you once trusted, knowing it was all a lie. I know because that’s the journey I’ve been on these last three years. It’s not easy to find yourself on the outside, especially if no one you know has taken the same journey. Fortunately for me I have friends and family who have done the same. But the leftists who read the NYT live in a bubble. I don’t wish ill on anyone, but it seems inevitable that the vaccines will eventually destroy their health and sterilize all their children. Ideological blindness has consequences.

That these consequences are inevitable is the reason we must continue to speak the truth, even if it causes hurt feelings.

Dr. McDonald, as always, right on target.

Dr. McDonald's new book Freedom From Fear is out on audio version. Got mine. It's next in my queue. Can't wait to listen. Enjoyed his first book this way as well.

And even I didn't know it had come out in audio version--thanks for informing us all!

I have some friends who are doctors, statisticians and they all claim the Cochrane report is flawed because a lot of the studies don't have masking 24/7 or 12/7. In particular, some studies compared non masking with facilities that masked only when patients were in the office. The criticism is that you can't pool randomized double blind trials that have markedly different criteria.

I thought about this. I think Steve Kirsch demonstrated a few months ago that it is perfectly possible for several thousand dollars to purchase a battery powered system that pumps perfectly filtered air into your nose/mouth. You can also have a helmet with goggles or plexiglass shield. You can be PERFECTLY protected. (Spacesuits, anyone?) Perhaps the N95 mask might provide this level of personal protection when warn constantly if the fit is accurate.

My problem is not whether masking protects a single person under perfect conditions. The problem is a)You can't mandate mask wearing now How will you ensure compliance? People are no longer so scared/fearful of Corona--especially the Omicron variant. b)People never wear the proper masks and don't wear the proper masks properly. So mask mandates are bound to fail in protecting the public. Put energy, instead, into vitamin D3, repurposed medical drugs, Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, early medical treatment. And avoid hospitals with their one size fits all protocols mandating Remdesivir ventilators, etc.

No point in being a masked moron--even if masks work to reduce transmission. Omicron is not very dangerous to those under 60 without preexisting conditions. So go ahead and get infected with Omicron since natural protection is better than vaccines, mask, and/or social distancing.

If you read Bret Stephens' article, he quotes Jennifer Sey, who made the obvious comment: "If something doesn't work in real life, then it doesn't work." That is the best response to the foolish criticisms made by the uninformed and delusional.

What continues to fascinate me about this topic is that no one on either side has changed their position after three years. What this shows me is that people either live in reality or they don't. Apparently nothing will change that.
